The original that never was -- week 12 pack Authored teaching scenario. The item counts are the real counts of published archive records (see /archive/); the sizes for print and image are the real figures from earlier packs (week 4's retained listing; transcription files are a few KB). Audio's size is an estimate, labelled as such, because no audio bytes are currently published for that collection. The dollar rates are fictional, stated so a student can recompute every total. budget.txt states the annual budget, the rates and the three families' real item counts and sizes. proposals.csv gives two competing allocations, computed from those rates, not typed in as totals. proposal-totals.csv sums each proposal's cost and a naive per-item value score. sensitivity.csv reruns both proposals after one rate changes: source-tier labor rises from $12 to $20 per item, reflecting a provenance audit like week 11's actually costing more than the original figure assumed. objection.txt raises one serious objection to the deep-image proposal and responds to it without declaring either proposal the winner. reveal/ holds the worked comparison. Open it after your own memo.
