# A2 — Restore the Relay

Name(s):

Student roles and contributions:

Scenario / route / attempt date:

## Objective and constraints

## Evidence and initial prediction

## Sender and receiver information

Which student held the source and measurement record? Which held the receiving conditions? Record the requested information, exact read-back code, profile confirmation and a corrected misunderstanding. Preserve both roles’ records before and after swapping.

## Diagnostic evidence and its limits

Link your Lab 5 trace showing how you selected a test. Then identify what the relay’s one combined supply-and-fuse measurement establishes and what it does not demonstrate by itself.

## Practical record

Attach or link the exported activity/mission record. For campus work include a reproducible event or measurement record.

## Performed mission evidence

Attach the field log showing the intervention, collected case or acknowledgement, ordered checkpoints and completed receiving handover. Explain how the equipment tests supported these actions.

## Changed-situation response

Preserve the initial version; explain the authority or observation requiring a revision.

## Explanation and limitations

Follow the word guidance and deliverables in the published brief.

## Assistance and attribution

## Individual contribution / defence

## Required items

## What you hand over

- Both role records, showing at least one meaningful rotation.
- The Lab 5 independent diagnosis trace (competing explanations, chosen discriminating test, original readings, justified repair and verification), plus the compact relay’s supplied measurement and load verification.
- A source-backed archive selection.
- Before/after permission matrices, including positive and negative checks.
- A complete destination/quantity/code handoff with acknowledgement.
- A **500–700-word joint explanation**.
- A responsibilities table and individual contribution statement from each person.

The explanation should connect diagnosis, evidence and communication. Describe one misunderstanding or uncertainty even when it was resolved before the final attempt.
