Ran the even-numbered weeks’ crits, from the résumé annotation in week 4 through to the final crit in week 12, and brought up the Red Queen effect more than strictly necessary — including, on the record, at the meeting where the convening role was first described as coverable. Kept his crits to their scheduled two hours while the coverage arrangement beside him grew to absorb everything else. By the time the review reached his position the comparison had already been made, and it was not a comparison about teaching: one colleague was visibly doing three roles, and he was doing one.
No longer runs sessions. Kept on the People page as the clearest evidence the course has that naming a mechanism out loud, early, repeatedly, and at the correct meeting does not exempt you from it.
